In 2002 GAMAA instituted its Leadership Education Program. The Program was originally designed to fill a gap in the industry and provide a framework in which those with aspirations to lead could explore a range of leadership skills and topics through formal education (scholarship) and workshops (tailored to the industry).
Almost a decade on and the GAMAA Leadership Program continues to evolve. Since its inception hundreds of participants have attended the GAMAA workshops and 35 scholarships have been awarded.
In 2012 GAMAA will offer a $15,000 Grant under the newly instituted GAMAA Industry Overseas Internship Grant.

Past students comments:
"I have been involved in training and development for most of my adult life. The GAMAA Workshops provide a calibre of facilitator rarely seen at the usual courses. The content really complements my studies and the environment created to experience this is very safe, allowing us to explore the full implications of the dynamics available." Kelly Bourke, Sales Manager, SOS Print & Media Group.
“I began attending GAMAA workshops in 2008. GAMAA delivers courses that are always topical, relevant and presented by facilitators who are the best in their field. The beauty of the GAMAA workshops is their practicality. Most of what you learn can be easily adapted into the workplace and there is no doubt that my exposure to the learning experiences available through GAMAA, have made me a more productive and effective manager”. Stephen McRobert, NSW Department of Lands.
