GAMAA LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME SCHOLARS GRADUATE
Sydney 16th June, 2006: Alastair Hadley President of the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA) congratulated the latest scholarship graduates of the GAMAA Leadership Programme at the Association’s quarterly meeting held yesterday in Sydney.
Completing their scholarships were Russell Cavanagh, Steve Brunsden and Michael Dorrigo, all recipients of the GAMAA Leadership Programme Scholarship which is awarded annually to a limited number of scholars seeking to undertake further education (predominantly post graduate).
“The GAMAA Leadership Programme provides those working in the printing and graphic technologies industry with the opportunity to develop and explore leadership skills through studies undertaken as part of the scholarship fund and also through our residential workshops,” said Hadley.
“We are proud to have been able to support our graduates in their endeavours and look forward to watching the continued progress of our remaining scholars.”
There are currently 10 scholarship recipients engaged in study at various Universities around the country; a unique facet of the GAMAA Leadership Programme is that scholars can choose the University and course that suits their specific needs.
Past graduates include Chris Roden, Richard Rasmussen, Anthony Choi, Sean Budden and Chris Ryan.
The next round of scholarship applications will open in September 2006.
