Since its inception in 2002 the GAMAA Leadership Programme has developed into one of the most unique and highly regarded educational opportunities in the industry.
Forming the heart of the GAMAA Leadership Programme is a 3-day residential workshop module held twice yearly and open to professionals working in printing, graphics and related disciplines.
In Melbourne in May the first workshop for 2006 will be held: “Pursuing Business Excellence”.
This programme will provide a fresh perspective on the leadership and operational skills needed to succeed within the changing context of the graphic media industries. It will present a range of management and leadership models and canvass the skills required to integrate these into the workplace.
Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between operational issues and business strategy within the framework of the changing context of the graphic media industries. Developing coaching conversations and applying this to everyday work with teams and in an organisational setting underpins this workshop.
Each GAMAA Workshop is unique and brings together an exciting blend of academic and industry professionals in a rare and valuable learning environment. GAMAA works closely with senior academics and business consultants from Australia’s top universities and business schools to develop a rigorous and challenging programme.
